About Me

As a young child I learned one important fact about myself; I loved storytelling.
I would scribble marks on paper that represented letters and words and ‘read’ the story to family and friends. As I grew older, I was enthralled with the exciting places and stimulating characters I could conjure in my imagination. At times, I would sit on the bathroom floor with the door shut, light on, and write throughout the night.
As J.K. Rowling said, “There’s always room for a story that can transport people to another place.”
I became an avid reader. It didn’t take long for me to discover my penchant for historical books and mysteries. As an author, I write Historical Romantic Suspense. I chose the late 1800's and early 1900's England and America as the setting for my characters.
I have a deep love for horses, especially Arabians. In the first two books of my Spencer Series, Forbidden Angel and The Sanctuary, the Arabian horse is mentioned. At one time my Arabian Farm, Guardian’s Keep, contained fifty-three horses.
Surrounded by a large and loving family, I use such a backdrop to support my heroes and heroines as they make their way through the complexities of adventure, suspense and of course . . . love.
